How Insights collects data about you
Insights will ask you for information about yourself when you complete the Evaluator which is a short questionnaire. Insights will collect the following information: your first name, family name, your company, work email address, gender, and your preference data. You have the option to provide us with your date of birth, job title and other contact details.

How Insights uses your data
Insights uses your data to generate your personal profile, to improve the service Insights offers you, for administration, research and development and to try to ensure that you get the best out of the Evaluator.

In completing the Evaluator, Insights will record your personal details. Your data will be used principally to meet your requirements. Insights retains the data you provide and may use it for the following purposes: research and development, administrative and legal purposes, statistical and marketing analysis, systems testing, maintenance and development, customer surveys, customer relations and to help us in any future dealings with you, for example by identifying your preferences. Insights will only keep data for as long as necessary to meet these purposes.

For these purposes Insights may disclose your data to other companies in the Insights group. If required by law, Insights may also disclose data to government and/or enforcement agencies. If you are completing the Evaluator for the purpose of learning and development solutions that are to be delivered by a licensed practitioner (an independent practitioner licensed to deliver Insights solutions) or a client practitioner (a colleague in your organisation licensed to deliver Insights solutions), your data may also be provided to that licensed practitioner or client practitioner. Any of these scenarios may involve sending your data to different countries.

If Insights looks to use your data for a new purpose, beyond those purposes detailed in this policy, Insights will ask for your consent. Insights will never supply your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

To whom your data can be disclosed
Disclosure of your data to others may be necessary to ensure the smooth provision to you of the products, services and information you request. Your data may be disclosed to the other entities described under the heading "How Insights uses your data" and this will only ever happen where we can ensure the security and privacy of your information.

You can have your personal information that you have submitted to Insights removed from our records at any time by contacting Insights using the contact details below.

The countries your data can pass through
Insights has group companies and licensed practitioners in different countries. Data collected by any Insights Group company may be stored and processed in another country, including a country that is not in the European Economic Area (EEA). Some countries may not have data privacy laws as strong as those in force in others. Insights ensures that the same high standards are observed in all of the countries in which Insights operates, regardless of whether the law of the country concerned requires that those standards are observed.

As a UK company we are required by law to register with the UK Information Commissioner which ensures that Insights fully complies with international legal requirements.
