Background and objectives

Maximus’ global team communicates in more than 120 languages across six countries, helping to eliminate barriers to matching the right services with the right people at the right time.

They launched Insights Discovery to strengthen personal, interpersonal and team effectiveness across the business by fostering a shared understanding of what drives individual and collective behaviour.

Through the common language of colour energies, employees were empowered to lean into the Maximus values in authentic and intentional ways.

At its heart, the initiative aimed to deepen self-awareness and encourage reflection, helping participants identify growth opportunities that enhanced their connections, collaborations and relationships across its global workforce.


Our strategic solution

Initially designed as a small-scale initiative with one class per month (30 participants), demand quickly exceeded expectations.

Within months, participation expanded to three to five sessions monthly with 40 participants per class.

The model soon evolved from open registration to team-based cohorts, driving higher engagement and immediate ROI as teams grew together through the experience.

The programme used Insights Discovery in-house accreditation as the strategic foundation.

With both the Foundation and Management chapters to enhance perspective, five complementary team building sessions were added to enhance team synergy and appreciation, ranging from appreciating opposite types to identifying blind spots and thriving through change.

Each session was designed to deepen self-awareness and team understanding, reinforced through tailored resources for participants and leaders.

Maximus provided personalised team wheels for each team that attended and layered in management insights and reflection tools that encouraged ongoing growth.


Measurable outcomes

The impact of the program has been both profound and measurable:

Ten accredited facilitators trained more than 3000+ employees across 210 teams and 124 workshops in three years.

Overall, they achieved an NPS score of 76 for Insights Discovery, and the team building sessions average an NPS of 78.

Teams consistently report higher cohesion, appreciation and engagement.

The programme’s success now fuels sustained demand. Sessions fill three to six months in advance, reflecting a thriving culture built on shared insight and mutual respect.
