Tricia Nelson

Tricia joined Insights in December 2025 as Marketing, Brand and Sales Director, a newly created role in our Executive Team. Appointed to lead the ambitious growth strategy of Insights globally, Tricia brings extensive commercial experience gained over 20 years across a number of industries, including Financial Services, Energy & Infrastructure, Media and Professional Services. Most recently, Tricia was the Managing Partner for UK&I People Advisory Services at EY, where she spent 14 years and held a number of senior roles as a Global Client Partner, Talent Leader and member of the Investment Committee.

Tricia has been an admirer of Insights since doing her first Insights Discovery profile 17 years ago when working in the Financial Services Sector. She completed it again while working with clients in a critical government infrastructure programme, and has experienced first-hand the power of self-awareness at the personal, team, and organisational levels. She is passionate about our Purpose to create a movement in leadership and believes that, with increased self-awareness, any team or organisation can create breakthrough experiences.

A day in the life

When not travelling globally to spend time with Partners, Customers and also her team, Tricia will be working across multiple time zones and spending time with her leadership team and our Executive team. Tricia is passionate about role modelling and is developing client strategies to grow and diversify Insights go-to-market planning and expand our market and brand awareness.

Make it personal

Tricia lives in Glasgow with her husband, Martin, and their two children, Hamish, 16, and Hannah, 22, and has a love of interiors and design. Tricia and her husband have spent several years converting an old house, which is nearly finished! When she isn't cooking or in the garden, Tricia loves yoga, cooking, and making cold-pressed juice.

When she isn't working, Tricia is looking forward to spending more time playing golf, a recent achievement being to attain a handicap! Playing Golf in the beauty of Scotland brings much-welcomed harmony with nature and makes new friends.
