BRITA holds a top position in the global water filter market. The family-owned company, headquartered in Taunusstein near Wiesbaden, Germany, is represented in 70 countries on all five continents through 27 national and international subsidiaries or operating facilities, as well as investments, sales and industrial partners.

BRITA’s Human Resources team, supported by the Board, developed their global team collaboration and leadership with the help of Insights Discovery.
Across 16 countries, leaders and employees engaged with Insights Discovery and generated more than 600 profiles, embedding a shared approach across their workforce of 2,400 employees.
BRITA focused on building a unified leadership culture through a shared language, enhancing collaboration across teams and empowering leaders to drive sustainable high performance.
Throughout this process, BRITA accredited a team of 11 Insights Discovery Practitioners.
Leveraging these practitioners, BRITA designed and delivered a comprehensive journey to develop teams and leaders, and grounded the journey in Insights Discovery, the Self-Aware Leader framework and the Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership Profile.
BRITA delivered Discovering Leadership Effectiveness workshops across organisational levels, giving leaders the opportunity to explore the four manifestations of leadership and translate them into practical action.
To deepen the impact, they piloted a programme for senior leaders, combining Self‑Aware Leader with the Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership Profile to strengthen self‑awareness, agility and long‑term leadership capability.
At the same time, BRITA embedded Insights Discovery into people processes; new employees encountered it during onboarding, and future leaders engaged with it as part of BRITA’s junior leadership programme.
By anchoring Insights Discovery in both senior leadership and early‑career development, BRITA created a scalable and sustainable approach that connects different stages of the employee journey.
The programme led to more open and honest communication, better feedback processes and more collaborative teams.
Bilingual delivery ensured cultural relevance, and the workshops were both engaging and impactful.
Insights programmes have become part of BRITA’s culture, helping employees understand different working styles and how to apply them. Interactive tools like videos and games keep the learning alive, supporting lasting behavioural change and a positive cultural shift.
