Angelo Botter

Angelo Botter is a recognised and sought after executive coach despite the fact that he has only recently retired from full time employment. Interestingly, he was already functioning as an internal executive coach while he was employed. Angelo combines practical experience, knowledge of business processes and a warm personal style. He energetically pours himself into younger people by inspiring them to develop their capabilities and make sound strategic choices. He uses a coaching methodology that identifies a candidate’s key strengths and preferred communication style. He also identifies development needs by assessing the candidate’s role and deliverables as well as their work environment. He works collaboratively with candidates and identifies milestones that help measure progress. Angelo has held senior executive positions at several large multi-national healthcare corporations during his 37 year career, with Bristol, Baxter, Lederle and NordicLabs. His last 21 years were at Abbott Laboratories where he worked overseas as General Manager in both South Africa and Holland. He recently retired as Senior Executive Director Pharmaceutical Products, Abbott Canada. He and his team launched all new Abbott products in HIV, Anti-infective, Gastroenterology, Cancer Therapy, Immunology, and Cardiovascular fields. He also concluded several in-licensing and co-marketing deals with other pharmaceutical companies. Angelo is an inaugural Member in the Canadian Pharmaceutical Marketing Hall of Fame. Today he also sits on several boards of public and private companies including AVR, a bio-tech company based in New York.
